You do not want to hit the crab steer (or make even a slight correction) when in road gear! You"ll take a 45 right into the ditch. Otherwise, nothing to worry about. I used a 6-18 semi-mount plow on it.....something you cannot do with an articulated 4WD. They will break the plow with the side to side action. Leave it in front wheel steer and the plow follows like on a conventional tractor. Does increase the turning radius, but after 12 furrows you don"t need to turn short- just that first round. 4690 and later is when you get into the electronics stuff. 2470 is all mechanical.
