well...

sort of...

I was on the television...

more of a background thing...

HAHA

Antiques Roadshow!

I'm wearing the dark blue shirt, blond hair and bald. I was in the background during the entire segment. It was a long day of walking and standing in lines, but I did get to meet a few celebrity appraisers, so it was definitely worth it. Also, I got to be on TV. I took my mother to the show, to have her mother's watch appraised, and her father's drumset. The watch was worth $2500, and the drumset they couldn't put a value on, because they hadn't seen another like it. go figure!

Funny to see yourself on TV. It was the first time it ever happened to me on a national TV show. I didn't realize how big my bald spot was!

At least in this screen capture I was smiling! I started to notice a while ago that the people standing in lines in the background usually make funny faces because they don't realize they are on camera. I was partially aware of the guitar behind me, but had no idea it would air on TV.

here's a link to the video of that appraisal.

My mother did yell at me today for standing with my hands in my pockets. She said I looked like a bum. haha I've officially embarassed my mother on national TV.
