You just described the area we live in,transplanted Illinoisions, North West Maricopa County Arizona,The real estate crash has caused the "this is the time to buy" thing to be a big deal here.Real estate took a big dive a couple of years ago and property is still affordable here. good medical can be had in any area of the county. good commercial areas.Very good Schools , Grocery stores etc.Seems to be plenty of middle class employment ,if you don"t build houses that is. those fellows are not very busy.Solar Electric Generation seems to be a start up buisness needing technisions badly.Palo Verde Nuclear Plant is always looking for good employees. Wickenburg Az. is a good Tourist town to set up in. It gets hot here but you get useed to it, It's a dry heat. Az. is a no permit required open and Concealed Carry State so be prepared to meet a Pistol Packer on the sidewalk or in a store. It took me a while to aclimate to this gun thing when we first moved here.I never have owned nor still don"t have a hand gun.Company buisness required me to work at the IHC Truck Test Track near Maricopa Az.in 1961 and again in 1964 and I acquired a desert likeing back then and I still like the desert. We have lived here since 2000 and will never go back to Illinois to stay unless in an URN. Good Luck.

The saga starts with the following message: Hey guys I have a decision to make. I know what you all will probably suggest and it will probably agree with me way down inside, but here it is. I have a picture blown up and framed in my "tractor room" of a Farmall M. It was my Grandpa's tractor, of which whom I never got to meet. He froze to death getting this tractor out of the barn to pull a truck out of the ditch before I was born. Anyway my dad and aunt had to sell it at the auction, ... [Read Article]
