I'd clean out the fuel system, flush it with diesel fuel and change the filters, remember you'll have to bleed the system to get the air out. If someone tried to run it on gas no firm answer if it got hurt. It is my understanding that gasoline in a diesel system causes two problems- 1- It won't run 2- Gasoline is not a lubricant, injector pumps are lubricated by the fuel going through them. SO 3-how much gas into how much diesel?.4- Did it quit running or did they shut it off? 5-Did it quit because the injector pump died from to much gasoline and 6-if they put gasoline in it was it E-10? 7-If so how much corrosion from the alcohol do you have and what else in the fuel system might the alcohol have dissolved? bottom line play with it some, you might end up buying some experience but we all have done it
