Around here you have to watch or someone is dropping a horse off. My Brother and his wife are into horses. She finally figured out how to keep good care of pleasure horses. She has many "friends" with horses. She has gained four horses this last year because the owners could no longer afford the cost of feed and stable fees.
She did come over and help round up some western cattle I had on fall pasture. Those cows would not respond to a man on foot or 4 wheeler. Went right along with her on a horse.
It was kind of funny as just a few years ago she was doing the fancy horse shows all dressed up in riding cloths. Jumps and all. She had a blast chasing cows on an old quarter horse she had been given for free. That old horse had been around cattle before as he knew what to do. She is asking me all of the time now when she can help again. LOL Life is funny.
