Heres a few pictures from around the farm the last week or so. We finished combining the soybeans today. We filled a GM 6500 truck and 1 gravity wagon. We got 45 bushel to the acre in one field and 55 bushel to the acre in the other. Not bad for our first try at soybeans. The field with 45 bushel to the acre was due to the fact that we didnt plant quite enough seed when we planted.
Note how we stack the wagons on top of each other to save space, and make sure everything stays inside for the winter. In front of the wagon is our IH 5100 drill.
The gravity wagon (borrowed) was from our cousins and we hired someone to combine the beans. Looks like he did a pretty nice job.
The 1655 was on the gravity wagon and it pulled pretty hard down the road on the hills. It was a lot more weight then i expected!
