I was getting measurements today and going to take a closeup photo or two when something else hit me. I'm planning on putting 12 X 5 rims on the back with AG tires instead of the 12 X 7 rims with turf tires. The rims have the same offset so the result will be will be the rear total width will be 4 inches narrower. So I need to see how that looks and if the front will look oddly wide--if so I might want to get a different offset for the rims since they need replacing now. I really need to get a better look at things before I go any further.

I have so much that needs doing to it. I have the transmission detached right now and the hitch needs repairing. This is only one of many stalled projects in a complicated life and I swear sometimes I feel like chucking everything and starting over but I keep hanging on because I want this stuff fixed. The tires and wheels were supposed to be a simple job but like many it has gotten complicated.

To top it off the Wheel Horse has been sitting for a couple years like this in a metal building and getting covered with mold. a week or so ago I needed to move a folded up tarp off something and I laid it on the hood of the tractor. Tonight I remove it and saw these puffy spots of yellowish white fuzz the size of pencil erasers all over the hood. I went to wipe them off and I guess it's some form of rust as the paint came right off too. And of all things at least this tractor had had a decent paint job.

I appreciate the offer and will get back to you one of these days--hopefully soon.
