I have an 8 speed Ford 1966 Diesel 2000 (3 cylinder) with live PTO. My PTO seal was leaking so I pulled the shaft out. I did this before reading someone"s post that I should have the PTO lever engaged before I pull out the shaft. I did not have it engaged. I had no trouble getting it out.
But will I run into any trouble putting it back in? If so, do you have any tips on what I might do to get it back in easily and correctly?
