: I have a 4 clinder overcam geardriven oil pump, the pump is good the lines are good but still am not get much oil pressure can you help Assmuming you have faith in the gauge that you are reading, pull the pan and start looking at rod and main bearings. Just got through with the same problem with my CASE. Look at the crank and condition of the bearings. If you have standard bearings, you may be able to order .002 under rod bearings. Replace the mains with std. and the rods with .002 under, plastigauge to make sure they aren't too tight, the trust in the oil pump to make up the difference. If you are a stickler for perfection, go have the crank reground to .010 under, or what ever your machinist says it will resurface to, have the rods resized, and do it right. If your'e like me and need he machine, go with the .002 under rods and cross fingers. JPK
