THe only dual MC that would provide different pressure is one that has two different sizes of bore in the cylinder. They do exist, but 90% have the same size in both. There are differences in valving, a car with disk brakes front and drum rear will have a residual pressure check valve in the rear brake cylinder, and non in the front brake cylinder. If it has only one axle with brakes, I would put a single master cylinder on it, not a dual. A dual cylinder would be a bit spongier, but not much. If the cylinder diameter on the old one was 1 inch, and you put a 7/8" dual piston in it it would have more pedal travel, but would apply the brake cylinders harder for the same pedal pressure. It is a direct area of piston change, not diameter. If a vacuum booster will fit in the space, they work well. Hot rodders use 7" boosters quite often when space is a premium. Jim
