Well I certainly haven't aged!! I've been told people are reminded of the old F-150 I drive when they see me. The paint is faded, several patches here and there, more dents and scratches than you can count on both hands but still as dependable as the day it was built. Grandpa often said that "on the judgement day all will stand bare before him". I have to believe that day should prove interesting. The big reason this topic bacame of interest to me is recently an old friendship was rekindled. A gal I graduated with requested "friending" me on Facebook. I honestly had to get out my old yearbook and look (and search the memory banks), as we were not close friends perse. As I recall, she was quite shy in school. Chatting back and forth,it turns out she remembered me as about the same. (thankfully I didn't do anything real stupid then). Now as then, I still don't care to be 'seen' with the most popular people. A true friend though, deserves my full attention.

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
