Hi ,
I have a 1991 GMC S-15 Sonoma , short bed , two wheel drive with a 4 cylinder motor with a 5 speed transmission. The truck has been wrecked and rebuilt with a 4 cylinder frame out of a 1987 ( app. ) S-10 . Everything went back together with no problems that I know of. A friend has a 1986 S-10 Blazer , 4 wheel drive with a 2.8 motor and automatic transmission . He has a Reece hitch on his blazer . If he junks the blazer then I'm buying the hitch ( hopefully ) . My question is this - Are the bak end frames the same on both vechiles and will the hitch bolt up to my truck or do I need to drill some holes . I can drill the holes , I just need to know if the frames are the same and will it fit on my truck with no major modifications ? Thanks for any and all advice .
Thanks, Whizkid
P.S. Have a Safe and Happy July 4 , and please read my other two posts on this forum and also my other two posts on the Garden Tractor forum on this site .
