Sounds a lot like a "friend" of a lady who is buying one of our horses for her son. The "friend" was trying to sell her all kinds of horses that had either a health problem or a training/attitude problem or both. They came and checked out our mare, we were completely honest with them about her and the fact that she had only very basic ground work done with her and they would have to train her. They liked that she was calm and friendly and had no major ailments. They agreed to our asking price because we were willing to take payments and deliver after all the payments were made. Then the same "friend" offered to trailer her for them for $1200......it's right around 200 miles one way. I figured we could do it for around $500 and I even felt a bit bad about that but they were very happy with it.
The "friend" that was a "horse expert" was only trying to sell them her problems.
