My lady has a "95 Grand Prix, she loves the car(so basically I really want to fix it for her) but it needs an engine. It has a bad top end noise, sounds like #1 piston broke. Of course this happened after we spent about $300 putting new intake gasket, alternator and rear struts on it.
But anyway... I"ve found a 3.4L out of a "99 Grand Am GT for $200. Will these engines interchange? Will I have problems with electronics not matching/hooking up? Is there a place online where I can look up engine swap info?

Opinions and suggestions appreciated. Y"all have a good day!
