We have a dog that likes to dig under our fence in our back yard. We bought a 2 mile fencer to give him a jolt. I only get around 2.5 at the wire coming from the fencer before I hook up the fence. This seems very low to me. I don,t have any experience with these smaller fenders as I have for our cars. when I test the outlet what should I get before I hook up the fence. Like I said I have two other fencers so yes I do know how to run an electric fence I just never had a small one like this.
