Illinois Rural Heritage Museum (in Pinckneyville, IL) will be having their 3rd annual tractor drive on Saturday, June 4, 2011. Due to museum renovations, the event will be held at White Walnut Farms, 5355 Goldeneye Farms, Pinckneyville, IL 62274.
Travel 2 miles east of Pinckneyville on Rt 154, turn north on White Walnut Rd. Travel 2 miles then turn east on Goldeneye Rd (watch for signs.)
Tractor Drive starts at 1:30. We will be going 8-10 MPH and traveling about 22 miles. There will be a planned activity for any non-tractor drivers while the tractor drive is going on.
Kids (15 & under) will have an opportunity to fish at 4:00 in a designated lake. Bring appropiate gear and kids must be adult supervised.
Banquet (with meal) will be at 6:00. Special guest and Speaker will be Rodney Miller, host of new TV show "Inside the Barn" which celebrates life in rural America, Former CEO of two Tractor Mfg Companies, and currently an Assistant Dean at Univeristy of Georgia.
Tractor Fee is $50 which includes Shirt, button, and Banquet fees. Banquet only is $15 adults, kids 6-10 are $7, kids 5 and under are free. Kids Fishing and Alternative Activity during tractor drive are free. Money being raised goes to 2nd Phase of Museum renovations.
