Then you saw the trees up close. If I had made the image of The Peak about twice as wide (using more of the 360° photos), you could see where Skyline Drive overlooks to the east before it turns and goes between North Marshal and South Marshal. I would have expected that this Fall in PA would have been just as colorfull. WELL.... It turns out that was where I could get the brakes to finally hold, along with the tranny in 1st gear! Earlier in the year I was coming down that same hill in 1st gear when it popped out! I was 2/3s the way down luckily, so I had a short WILD ride that was not to dangerous. Higher up I might have been in BIG trouble! This time I rode down with my hand FIRMLY on the gear shift. :-)
