Rick, I list my occupationa as a farmer as I think that in my heart of hearts that is what I would like to think that I am. In reality, I am not a true farmer as the bulk of my livelyhood is sourced elsewhere. The best advice that I can give is to observe the lifestyle that you want to live. Once that is defined, determine the income that is necessary to achieve that objective. If the lifestyle chosen will not yield the income necessary to support itself obviously you will have to do something else that will generate the income. It is all a matter of how determined you are and what sacrifices you are will to make. It is essential that you qualify yourself for whatever career you decide upon. Get the formal background and some practical experience. Hire on where there is potential for you to partner with the operation in time. Prove your worth, be patient, apply yourself every day and keep the goal in mind. You will get there! Good luck
