Horsepower rating on 1940 Farmall B??

I am in the market for a small tractor and am trying to decide what size I need. I have used my dad's Farmall B my entire life and really like it. However, I think I am looking for something a little newer with a loader on it. He has told me that his was rated at 16 drawbar HP. How is drawbar HP related to engine HP and is this number in the ball park for a Farmall B?
