At least your oil (carmel) would drain out! I worked on a Farmall B 10 years ago. Went to drain the oil in the fall, took the plug out and this long string of goop slowly came out. Had to put the Nipco heater on the transmission case to warm the stuff up enough to make it drain out. Had all the oil in the drain pan overnight outside. Next morning I turned the pan upside down. Guess what? The oil stayed right in the pan it was that thick!! I did take the top cover off the trans to look inside to be sure the oil ways were clear. There was one pocket in the oil way to the PTO. It was full of crud and water. I suspect that was put there on purpose to catch junk before it got to the PTO gears. Have never worked on a H or M so I don't know it they have something similar.
