Referring to the talk about corn cob round airplane engines, I recently saw a extremely large air cooled Continental V-12 engine. I was told it is from a WW-2 or Korean vintage tank retreaver. I would guess it is about 2000 to 3000 cubic inches. It is in overhauled condidition in one of the military shipping container tanks. Are any of you tractor people famaliar with this engine? I know Continental made lots of air cooled round engines both for aircraft and tanks, but I never knew Continental made large V type air cooled engines. If anyone is interested I will try to get some information off of the data plate next time I get a chance. I know this is not a IHC tractor but I thought some might be intersted since the round corn cob engine question got several responses. Harold H
