Hi Gary, maybe I am confused about the which
885 model you. There was an IH model 885 build
in Doncaster UK with a German D-246 Diesel
engine.
Later when Case and IH merged this same tract
was marketed as CASEIH 885. See photos at:

Before this Case had a model 885 (formerly a
David Brown model).

The IH and CaseIH 885 model only has one
hydraulic pump with MCV valve that splits for
PS,PB,PTO and hydraulic oil cool and another
hydraulic circuit for 3pt and remotes. This
model has hydraulic filter under left side of
cab just below your left foot. The only ones
that had two hydraulic pumps were the
industrial models that had a pump mounted
mounted on front of tractor powered by connect
to front crankshaft pulley. This pump would run
only the loader and backhoe if equipped.

If you 885 has remote hydraulics, pull the
remote lever with nothing connected to the
remote outlets and the relief valve should
buzz. Sometimes this shocks the hydraulic
system enough to dislodge any dirt stuck in
valves. Also if it is air in the PS, turn PS
left and right to limits until the PS relief
valve buzzes.

Hope this helps
JimB

Today's Featured Article - Box Plow Blues - by Tom Schwarz. One of the first implements most tractor owners obtain is the box plow. For very little money, this piece of equipment promises to plow and flatten any hill or vale on your ranch road or farm. At least that's what I thought! As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U ... [Read Article]
