The hillside hitch was used on the draw bar to move it from side to side while plowing on hill sides to throw the ferrow up hill and keep the plow where you wanted it .There were vary common around here on tractors. I have one for my S/MTA and one for my Super H , one of my customers has two S/MTA's that he still plows with they both have them on .
