You can also look fro the cast code on the tranny by the clutch pedal it will have a numberthen that is the month second number is the day followed by a letter with the letter being the yr example 2*4*o would feb2,1945 that is the day that part was cast at the factory those codes appear different places on other cast parts wont be exactuly the same code on all parts but gives a general idea when that part was cast.
