My dad had a mounted IH 2 row picker on his H for many years. I don't remember the model but I do remember that the front corn head ran off of the belt pully via a chain, and the elevator section on the rear ran off of the pto. As far as I know he had no problems with it and he was one of the few guys with one, so he did a lot of openning up fields for neigbors.
