There are coupel of thing that may help ,first did you run a tap down the head bolt holes to clean them? #2 ,did you chase the threads on the head bolts? , #3 did you retoqure the head hot? #4 did you lightly lube the threads? #5 was it a felpro gskt? if it was a felpro i have had some problems with them on C263 and C291,s with the same problems of leaking between the two surfaces. I even called Felpro tech support to find out what was going on ,they tld me that i did not know how to install a head gskt, after 40 years of turning wreaches i think that i have installed 1 or 2 head gskt's. and now that they have taken the asbestouis out of them they leak like a sive. You can try using Peratex High Tack it helps some times also try adding about 5 more ft.lbs. of toqure to the head bolts , on C263's and C291's we have had to go to the diesel spec. to get them to stop leaking
