Hi Jim: My wife bought me a vinyl seat that ties on and I am happy with it. It has a little custion to it somewhat like a hot seat, so there is some heat that stores up in it. I do not know about the canvas, but the red and white vinyl looks good on my restored Farmall Super C. Bob
