I'd put my money on the 806. I've never seen a stock 806 and 4020 go at it, but there are several reasons I'd take the 806. The 806 has about 5 horsepower over the 4020 when both are stock. The 806 also has a wider range of gears than the 4020 so the driver can beter choose a gear that best suits the track. Not only that, but the 806 can down shift on the go if it's running short of power. The 4020 powershift can also do this, but the powershift tranny absorbs so much more power than a regular gear tranny, that it's from a disadvantage from the start. Also the 806 tranny doesn't rob as much power as the syncho-range tranny on 4020 Deeres. Many 806's came with 18.4 R38 Rubber from the factory unlike 4020's that almost all came with 18.4 R34 tires. The larger tires provide a great advantage on a track. Lastly I'd take the 806 over the 4020 just because of the fact the IH's just plain old kick butt.
