Could someone please help. I just purchase an M Farmall (1949). It has a Behler power steering unit on it that works but there is no reservoir for the steering fluid. All the other coments I have read talks about the reservoir being in front of the gas tank. Mine is a propane conversion. There was a long pipe coming out of the top but the unit was covered with grease. The man I bought it from was trying to help me and shortened the pipe and added a hose to run off the side so the unit would not drip any more oil but now it seems to drip or even flow rapidly out the tube (maybe a syphon effect?) Anyway can someone show a picture of the pump (mine is in front of the distrubutor) and how a reservoir hooks into it or describe it? I am hoping I can fabricate some type of storage device and close off that pipe. He said he put in fluid through the pipe but if I had a reservoir it would be so simple. Thanks for your help in advance.
