I just did the head on my 240, which is basically the same.
There are 9 bolts. A row of 4 along the manifold side, and a row of 5 along the distributor side.
Standing on the distributor side:
1 - 2 - 3 - 4
5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9
I started with bolt #7, then #3, then #2, then #6, then #8, then #4, then #1, then #5, then #9, then #4.
Torque spec is 65ft-lbs in the book, but I did some research and several knowledgeable sources have told me the spec was updated to 80ft-lbs. I torqued in 4 stages, snug, 40, 60, and 80.
Right or wrong, that's what I did, and I got away with it so far.
