Well, it snowed here in Mid-Missouri last night and is to continue all day. I have a 1954 Farmall Super C tractor with a Fast-Hitch mounted on it, along with a Dozer blade mounted mid-ship and hooked to the draw bar on the Fast-Hitch and suspended from the hydraulic levers behind the engine. It works pretty well since I can put the entire tractor weight on the dozer blade. The trouble I am having is the blade can be rotated back and forth on a 7/8" diameter bolt just behind the blade, and is located with a pin through holes in the back of the support frame. Well, the pin through the holes in the back of the frame don't line up anymore, and it was evident that the 7/8" bolt was getting worn into the metal. So I removed the bolt to discover that it had lost maybe 1/8" of its diameter to wear, and the hole through the plow support is also worn badly. I was going to take this out and weld it back up and redrill it, but discovered that there is a bushing in there. Since I need the plow today and tomorrow, I can't take it apart yet to do the repair. Does anybody know what the bushing configuration or dimensions are? Or what might be in there around the 7/8" bolt? Also might anybody know what dozer blade this might be and where I might get a manual for it?
