Well perhaps the new tractors will be collectable. The only reason our 40-60 year old tractors are still running is because they can be repaired by non-skilled owners who have access to reasonably priced new and used parts. Don't know much about new tractors, but I think it takes a lot of OJT, factory training, and money to keep them running. Are these assets going to be around in 40 years? If not, the tractors will be ground up to make the next generation of tractors. I wonder what that pretty cab will look like in 2040.
