13 gallons is correct. Be sure to remove the drain plug at the front of the transmission as well as the one at the bottom rear. The front one is under the beast, just behind the lift all unit. Also, good idea to drain the belt pulley too, as it does not drain from either of the other plugs. You have to loosen the flange bolts on the belt pulley and slide the shaft assembly out. If you do that, you will also need to refill the belt pulley separately through the plug on top. If there is water in your transmission, there is likely to be some in the pulley too. I think it holds only about a pint. If overfilled, it drains back into the transmission.
