Daniel.... Thanks for the info. It seems that the rpm on the regular goes down quite a bit when cutting 8" diameter wood. Blade is relatively sharp. I would expect that the govener when working correctly should kick in and the rpm would change only slightly. The regular runs quite well as I recently rebuilt the motor ,,,, rings etc. The belt does slip slightly which probably is a good thing should something go bad and then it could slip off. You may be correct in that there is no adjustment other than to increase the overall rpm. I notice that sometimes I advance the throdle lever and nothing happens..... like something is not engaging. Repeating throdle advancement a few times usually corrects it. I got about 8 cords cut with just two to finish. I'll pull the govener apart in a few days; I expect that something is worn inside or missing or broken springs.
