Hi Jon, This is not going to be easy to do over the net posting and I suggest we e-mail to speed things along.

There are two possible problems. Check to make sure Diesel tank fuel level is above filter(s) hieght, another words you could have too low of fuel level in your tank. Since the auxillary filter bled, and not the final filter, then the fuel tank level is not high enough or the final element is plugged.

There is also a small screen filter, final pump filter and looks like a typical gas inlet filter screen, located below the injector pump, towards the bottom of the block. The fuel line tee's into the fitting and the fitting has a plug at the end that unscrews and the final pump filter screen is attached to this plug. There will be 4 fuel lines in the same area with this one having the only tee type set up.
This screen if pluged will not let the pump pressurize but you don't have fuel coming out of the final fuel filter pet-cock so that has to be corrected first as this screen filter is after your main final cartridge filter. You have to have "free" fuel flow out of both pet-cocks with the engine running.

Try this and see what happens.

Today's Featured Article - Gatherin of the Orange - by Rick Nikolich. In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999. He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana. ... [Read Article]
