The stand itself fastens in the same manner to the same IH parts that you would normally attach your drawbar angles too. So all that is already done for you, and those parts are left on the rear axle housing, assuming of course that you are running a normal drawbar.
I didn't take anymore pics or measurements. The flat bar with slotted holes looks to be about 3/8"x4". I would guess the outer pipes to be about 1 1/2" sch 40, no less, and are stitch welded to the FB. I would guess the cross braces to be at least 3/8"x2". Build it strong, don't skimp on material. Better safe than sorry.
