Horn Mfg Loader Tip

For those of you who have a Horn Manufacturing front end loader (or equivalent) that uses two vertical hydraulic rams and steel cables, I want to share my latest experiment. I had problems keeping the 7 foot bucket level; even after adjusting the packing bolts I would still have one side 6" - 12" lower than the other after a while. To solve this I placed a ball valve in each line (with a push rod up to the seat for "remote" control). Now I can raise and lower each side independently, and that allows me to level the loader or lift one side up as I go over uneven ground.
