Well, - it's not really easy but you don't have to completely pull the axle. First get your gasket. Should still be available from nearest Case-IH Dealer. Remove the wheel, drain the rear end, remove the PTO assembly and drawbar. Remove the bolts holding the axle housing. Reach in through the PTO hole and remove the cap screw and washer from inside end of axle. Carefully drop the Bull Gear off the axle. Now you should be able to ease the axle and housing out far enough to remove the old gasket and carefully slip the new one over the housing and into place. Might want to support the outer end. A bit of fun getting that bull gear back on but it can be pried up and have helper turn axle as required to align splines and slide whole works back into place. That rear end holds nearly 15 gallons of grease so have a couple of containers ready. Good Luck. Took the whole works off my Super M before figuring the gasket would slip over the housing.
