I have a 560 gas with a blown motor. I also have a 715 Diesel combine sitting in the grove with a good motor. It's not the German diesel. I know that the 301 Diesel in the combine is similar to the 282 used in the 560 Diesels. I was wondering if I can transplant this 301 diesel motor in to my 560 that has the blown gas motor? If you can do this swap, what needs to be done to make it work? I thought if it did work that it would make a good pull tractor. Please email me back if you have any information.
