I have just purchased a 39 H.Have known the tractor for several years. The previous owner had reworked the engine about 5 years ago. He passed away about 3 years ago and i bought it from his estate. sheet metal/paint is real good, tires good, but in turning the engine with the crank there appears to be very little compression. Tractor has set outside for the last 3 years with the exhaust open. Any ideas as to what could be the problem or what to check first. Gave 5 dead presidents for the tractor, some assorted cultivator parts, and a 6 x 8 2 wheel trailer.
