cold start

I've been experiencing problems to start our Farmall 756 - diesel, model 1966. Does anyboby know what is the correct battery I'm supposed to use, since I don't have the manual? Can I find any upgrade to make it to start easier? Any answer will be very appreciated. Dalmo.
