I bought a 1924 Model 20 industrial a few years back and yesterday i decided to tinker with it a bit. Its loose but seemed like it was starting to get 'dry stuck' the last couple months when i would go out and crank it over. Thought i would pull the plugs and dump a little marvel oil down in the cylinders and spray the botom end of the motor.
Pulled on spark plug out and was somewhat shocked at what i found. pulled the other three and couldnt beleive what i saw........
all four sparkplugs look like they may be original..... :shock: :shock:
I bought this tractor (and another) from the Niece of the original owner. She is in her early 60's and she said ever since she was a little girl the tractors were sitting in the shop and never moved. Her uncle bought it and a 1925 10-20 new and she even gave me some of the original paperwork for them. I havent seen spark plugs like that in an old tractor in i dont know how long.....crazy!
