I appreciate all your help and suggestions, usually something simple holding up the show and this was no exception. I have tried to stay up with my old H and while it is tempting to pretty it up and make a show piece out of it, I am sorry I still work it. My next step will be to upgrade the charging system to an alternator set up. My biggest issue with my H is I cannot tighten up main belt enough I have my pulley extended as far as it will screw in. New belt work great for a short while but wear and stretch and its flopping around bad. but I think a tensioner roller mounted through the shutter pivot point in front of the add oil cap maybe the ticket. Thanks again to everyone for your help.
