I'd say if your not having problems with the cooling system, just flush alot of plain water through it with a hose, drain it as well as you can, then refill with a 50/50 mix of distilled water and antifreeze. Repeat every 2 to 3 years maybe adding a can of rust inhibiter each year. (This is the part that wears out in antifreeze.) Your concerns about not getting all the water out are real. Best just to keep correct coolant solution in all the time. Looking forward to your pictures. I anticipate receiving a Super A I just bought soon. I might try and learn from on how you did the paint job.
