Paul, If you received the mylar decals, they are very easy to apply.

1. Lay out the decals so you can see what you have. Determine which ammeter decal you should use by the number of positions on the switch. 3 position switch takes the "O D B" decal. A 4 position one takes the "L H D B" decal. Rotate the switch all the way CCW so you will know where to place the bottom end of the decal. I always trim off the outside white or yellow portion on those that have the solid black line around the outer edge ie; Safety decals and Gear shift pattern. There may be others you want to trim as well. This makes the finished product look "Finished".

2. Using spray liquid windex, mist the area where the decal goes ensuring that the area misted is larger than the decal you are applying.

3. Carefully peel off the backing paper while not allowing the sticky sides to touch. Position the decal on the misted area and then slide it around until you get it in just the right place. Starting in the middle of the decal, sqweegy out the air bubbles in all directions towards the nearest edge.

4. Using an absorbent rag (like a dishtowel), wipe off the excess windex being careful not to move the decal. Wipe lightly and you should be just fine. (The windex will not harm the paint job and anything that doesn't wipe off will evaporate fairly quickly).

Repeat the process for each decal. It takes a little time so don't be in a hurry. The end result will be spectacular especially when you know that they are in the right place!//FB
