Advice needed re: H and semi mount sicklebar

Hey All...

I recently purchased a drawbar semi-mount sicklebar mower (for those interested in specifics, it says "No. 27. VA Tractor Mower" on the housing in front of the blade/bar and is stamped |-i-| - presumably IHC) It is the type that bolts to the drawbar, and has a rear wheel supporting the back end, has a wood pitman arm, and is PTO powered. I am trying to hook the darn thing up to my 1940 "H" and have some questions:

1) Are they typically bolted to the top side or to the bottom of the drawbar? (Under and hanging from the drawbar, or over and resting on it)

2) It came with a hydrolic cylinder (which works), two long iron rods, maybe 7' long with a bend in one end, which I assume are control rods to lower and raise the blade/bar, and a pulley which seems to make sense if it were mounted to the drawbar for the chain from the rocker shaft controlling the blade/bar height. I can't for the life of me figure out where it would be best to mount the hydrolic cylinder, or how (if) to hook up the long bent control rods.

Any help anyone can offer would be very much appreciated - close up pics of ANY semi-mount sicklebar mower would be GREAT, especially (but not neccessarily) on an "H"
