Spinding another 3000 for crank and components to make a solid engine still makes it a good buy. However, the hydro is a pricy item to fix, and impossible to test. The word of the current owner is all that exists to define the wear and performance. You cant check any critical system. If the owner was unwilling to put that money in it what other factors were hanging it the decision. Look at the hitch and pedals to see wear and general neglect. Why did the engine come apart in use. The tires are worth the price, but caution is needed. Jim
