Fiddling with the M&W clutch makes the tractor move. That is where the problem is.
For the tractor to move both the foot clutch and the M&W must be engaged. Foot off the pedal, and hand lever forward.
AFAIK, you can lock up the clutches on the M&W by taking the cover off and tightening the large nut underneath. This will effectively disable the M&W clutch's ability to stop the tractor while leaving the PTO running. Pulling the lever will do nothing.
I have the same clutch on my Super M, but I am still trying to figure out how it works, how it adjusts, and if it's even any good. Right now nothing happens when I pull the lever 9 times out of 10.
