Tahnks to all who helped me with advice on the restoration of my 53 Super M.I went with 4.125 bore M&W pistons[what it had in it so I went with a new set] 8060 head milled .180 and ported, cam installed advanced one tooth and massaged the carb venturi, Valve settings are .017 exhaust and .013 intake. WOW what a difference!! I thought it ran pretty good before but now it is very impessive,no dyno figures yet but will post when I get them. And it looks good too even though I am having trouble getting the right side of the hood to line up with the grill. Will post pictures when I get them. Thanks again to everybody especially The Red,Jakkee and Les Repair.
