I've had a super w6 for about three years now with an Allied front end loader and I love this tractor. When I purchased it ,it had no paint on it but the tin was very good,I payed only $400.00 canadian for it but had to fix a rear tire for $150.00 (new tube)and did a small amount of wiring repairs and replaced some hydrolic hoses ,new belts ,and a new battery .Plus I had to pay $200.00 to get it hauled to my home.Replaced all the fluids and by time I was done had about $1000.00 canadian into it.I rescently saw one in the paper and the fella had another for parts to go with it.I did not see it but he said it ran good and the tin was good.He was asking $1400.00 for both. These prices are what I conscider excellant and if i were going to sell mine I wouldn't even look at an offer under $2200.00.This tractor is tuff.I use it mostly for clearing scrub brush and hauling logs out of the forest. When I bought mine it had been sitting outside in a bush for three years. The fuel in it smelt like turpentine but she started right up (popped a little) but i was able to drive it onto the trailer.Dont let my prices discourage you, in my opinion I stold this tractor. One note though,if it has been sitting outside for quite some time ,you can just about bet there will be rust in the gas tank and this makes them run terrible. Many times I had to get a rubber hose ,undo the fuel bowl and blow up through the gas tank to dislodge rust.I just kept adding good fuel to mine and by about the 3rd or 4th tank she started to run nicely and has ever since. I did have pics of my W6 but reformatted my drive and forgot to save them.I will be getting them back into my computer soon or if you have any other questions (i am no mechanic and learned everything I know about tractors from these wonderfull guys on this message board) or if you would like a pic of mine email me and I will send you some.Hope you can buy it.You won't be sorry. Good luck Doug S.

The Rescue of a Fordson F - by Anthony West. Introduction I live in the UK and have for many years restored Fordson tractors (in the main model N's). I have also restored and shown model F's, E 27N's, Field Marshall Series 2, David Brown Cropmasters and the old rey Fergeson T 20. At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
